Reduce Dust Mite Populations in Your Home The house dust mite is a tiny animal belonging to the Pyroglyphidae family, and they are known to cause health issues. The size of dust mites is generally between 200 and 400 microns, while their faecal pellets can be as small as 10 microns. Dust mites and their faeces often cause various allergies and even asthma. It often breeds in warm, humid, windless, and dark environments and is widely existing in places such as quilted seats, desks, fabric sofas, and upholstery products.

Why EN95?

The EN95 series filter is a three-layered (spunbond nonwoven + meltblown + spunbond nonwoven) composite filter, infused with 0.3% DDAC (didecyldimethylammonium chloride). It is highly efficient in filtration and has antibacterial properties. It filtrates 99.99% of particles larger than 10 microns, and the filtration efficiency of particles as small as 1 micron reaches 95%.

The 0.3% DDAC disinfectant that is infused in the filter has been researched by Eluxgo. In accordance with EN1276-2019 & EN1650-2019 & on-site hand disinfection tests, the disinfectant has been tested and evaluated by 3rd party organization, SGS, to be highly efficient and rapid in disinfection.

The sterilization efficacy reaches 99.99% within 30 seconds and can kill the following bacteria: Candida albicans ATCC10231, Escherichia coli ATCC 10536, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 4352, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442, Enterococcus hirae ATCC 10541, Enterococcus faecium ATCC 6057 & Aspergillus niger ATCC 16404.

Usage Instructions:

1 – Unclip the dust container from the vacuum unit.

2 – Remove the filter holder.

3 – Remove the filter sponge from the holder, and place/replace the filter fabric.

4 – Put the filter sponge back into the filter holder. The fabric filter should be on the side nearer to the motor.

5 – Install and fix the parts back together to the vacuum unit.

*For optimal performance, we recommend changing the EN95 filter weekly if you use the vacuum daily. The EN95 filter is not washable.
